Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of twenty-one years of age
- capable of lifting up to twenty-five pounds or more
- capable of standing and maneuvering independently and safely around the work area
- capable of standing on a tile floor for an eight-hour shift
- ability to see and hear or use prosthetics that enable these senses
- sufficient manual dexterity to operate bar and kitchen equipment including blenders, mixers, ice machines, dishwashers, slicers, and knives
- ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- sound mental and physical health with ability to get along well with others
- ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- subject to moderate physical and emotional stress
- able to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals with precautions

Job Duties
- Receives, greets and seats members by name and guests
- suggests and describes appetizers, entrees, desserts, alcoholic beverages and wines to members and guests in fine and casual dining
- receives and reviews daily banquet event orders and assists banquet staff
- coordinates food service between kitchen and service staff
- inspects linens and service ware daily for proper appearance
- resolves member and guest complaints
- assures safety, accident and emergency policies are followed
- enforces revenue control procedures
- selects, trains, schedules, supervises and evaluates service staff
- inspects dining and bar areas for maintenance, cleanliness and safety
- provides layout and decoration recommendations for special functions
- assigns and ensures completion of pre-opening and closing cleaning tasks
- manages guest reservation system and waiting lists
- assists with food and beverage service during events
- suggests additional service supplies and equipment
- enforces Club rules, regulations and policies
- serves as opening or closing manager or manager on duty
- completes end-of-shift and day reports
- assists in inventory assessments
- sells daily specials to members and guests
- conducts pre-service employee briefings
- ensures compliance with alcohol service laws and Club policies
- handles complaints professionally and promptly
- reports accidents, injuries, maintenance issues and suspicious activities
- completes required training and participates in member engagement activities
