Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- minimum of 3-5 years of progressive food and beverage management experience in a hotel or similar environment
- strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth
- excellent knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
- proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- experience with hotel management software preferred
- ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, lounge, room service, and banquet functions
- ensure compliance with Wyndham brand standards, health and safety regulations, and local codes
- monitor service quality and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
- coordinate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to develop and maintain high-quality menus
- prepare, monitor, and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to maximize profitability
- track revenue, expenses, and labor costs, ensuring alignment with financial goals
- implement inventory control measures for food, beverage, and supplies
- negotiate with vendors and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency
- recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate F&B staff, ensuring high levels of service and professionalism
- create staff schedules to meet business demands while maintaining labor efficiency
- conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance updates
- provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to enhance team performance
