Preferred Hospitality is currently seeking an experienced and energetic Food and Beverage Manager to join its operations leadership team at the Dallas, TX location. This full-time role offers an annual salary ranging from $55,000 to $80,000, complemented by bonuses, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities. The Food and Beverage Manager will assist the Food and Beverage Director in leading front-of-house customer service initiatives. The role requires providing strategic direction and hands-on supervision to hourly employees, ensuring they receive thorough training and consistent development in service excellence. Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining high standards of food service delivery and presentation, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective internal controls. The manager will prioritize staff and customer needs, fostering a positive team environment with open communication. Key duties include managing hiring, orientation, employee evaluation, mentoring, and discipline to promote operational success. This position demands a proactive leader who can manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensure compliance with uniform and hygiene standards, and support food preparation processes when needed. Job Requirements

  • Two to four years of supervisory or management experience in a food service or restaurant setting
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be available to work up to 50 hours per week including weekends and some holidays
  • Great people skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities
  • Novice computer skills including Internet, Excel, Word, and Google Suite
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
  • Ability to pass Serve Safe certification test
  • Conversational kitchen Spanish helpful

Job Duties

  • Provide direction in service training to hourly employees
  • Ensure proper hiring, orientation, training, evaluating, mentoring, and disciplining which will lead to employee and store success
  • Consistently supervises, manages, and inspects all hourly employees to ensure readiness and ability to perform to company standards
  • Ensures guest satisfaction through proper internal controls
  • Prioritizes employee, customer, and operational needs to ensure problems are handled quickly, effectively, and efficiently
  • Promotes positive open communication in a team environment
  • Inspects and administers employee uniform and personal hygiene standards
  • Instructs employees on food service delivery, presentation, and customer service
  • Assist restaurant employees in the area of food delivery and preparation
  • Other duties as assigned
