It is part of the renowned Autograph Collection, a portfolio of unique and memorable four and five-star hotels curated for travelers who seek originality, bold character, and elevated experiences. The Ben stands out as a destination where luxury is purposeful, style is meaningful, and service is crafted as an art form. The hotel attracts discerning guests who value excellence, thoughtful details, and a culture that is refined, confident, and unapologetically distinctive. This establishment is owned and operated by Concord Hospitality Enterprises Company, an independent franchisee separate from Marriott International. Therefore, employees at The Ben are employed by the franchisee, which controls all employment policies including hiring, compensation, discipline, and benefits.
The Food and Beverage Manager position at The Ben is a full-time management role focused on planning, overseeing, and managing the operations of the hotel’s restaurant, room service, bar, and catering services. The role is pivotal in achieving high levels of customer satisfaction, ensuring compliance with corporate and franchise policies, and adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations. The manager will develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed financial goals while upholding the quality and standards of the food and beverage outlets. Responsibilities include staffing decisions such as recruitment, training, coaching, and performance reviews, along with resolving conflicts and disciplinary actions when necessary. The Food and Beverage Manager also manages budgets, develops marketing initiatives including menus and promotions, and ensures excellent maintenance and sanitation practices within the food and beverage departments.
This position involves supervising a sizable team of eleven to thirty associates, requiring strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a positive work culture. The role demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills to address guest and associate needs effectively. Physical demands include mobility across all food and beverage outlets during shifts, lifting and carrying moderately heavy items, and standing for prolonged periods. The working environment is mainly indoors with occasional exposure to outdoor dining areas, where temperatures may exceed 100 degrees.
The Food and Beverage Manager will enjoy a competitive starting salary of $65,000 per year, along with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, health savings and flexible spending accounts, company-paid short-term disability, unlimited paid time off, 401(k) with employer match, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts on hotels and restaurants. The Ben promotes an inclusive work environment, aligned with the Autograph Collection’s brand philosophy of embracing individuality and personal growth within a global team setting. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who seek to excel in luxury hospitality management and contribute to an iconic hotel’s commitment to creating unforgettable experiences.
