The Food and Beverage Manager role at Legends Global is a pivotal position responsible for overseeing the daily operations and strategic execution within the Food and Beverage (F&B) department. This role demands a hands-on leader who can manage employee performance, inventory controls, sales, and profit optimization while ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a high-volume, dynamic environment. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Food and Beverage Manager is entrusted with maintaining high standards in food preparation, service, and compliance with company policies and health regulations.

The manager will take a proactive approach to coaching and communication with the F&B team, ensuring that all staff are well-informed about products and services, and motivated to connect customers with the right solutions. Supervising premium and VIP areas, the role prioritizes delivering superior service, promptly addressing guest inquiries and complaints, and maintaining accurate staffing schedules to meet operational demands. The position involves managing inventory closely, coordinating with purchasing to regulate supply requisitions and delivery schedules, and diligently controlling costs related to food, beverage, supplies, and labor.

In addition to operational duties, the Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for handling administrative functions such as financial reporting, HR, and payroll processes in line with company guidelines. They are tasked with ensuring cleanliness and safety standards across all venues, fostering a positive and harmonious work climate, and maintaining compliance with health certifications. Job Qualifications

  • Ability to organize time effectively, forward plan, prioritize tasks, multitask and delegate
  • Effective communication skills to interact with staff and guests
  • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to think on your feet and maintain professionalism under pressure

Job Duties

  • Understand and execute Legends Global Best Practices standards
  • Assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and customer transactions protocol
  • Coach and communicate with the F&B team about products and services, enthusiastically model selling behavior, share technical knowledge, and provide recommendations
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of the food and beverage staff to ensure prompt and courteous service
  • Pro-actively deal with guest queries, advise guests on menus and beverage selections, ensure satisfaction with food and service, and respond to complaints expeditiously
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date plan of venue staffing needs and prepare schedules
  • Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality food preparation and service
  • Inventory management including daily, weekly, and monthly tracking and working with purchasing manager for supply requisition and delivery
  • Adhere to company standards to increase sales and minimize costs including food, beverage, supply, and labor costs
  • Complete financial and HR/payroll administrative duties accurately and on time
  • Supervise general cleaning tasks to comply with health standards
  • Foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate among employees
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment and complete accident reports promptly
  • Responsible for Food Handler's certificate procurement and updates
  • Create purchase orders and follow approval procedures
  • Ensure all opening and closing procedures are followed and manage end of night closing tasks
  • Counsel team members on performance and take corrective action with management and HR
  • Maintain a calm demeanor and manage issues professionally
  • Attend weekly operations meetings
  • Complete other duties assigned by management
