The Beverage Operations Manager role at Live! Casino & Hotel is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the beverage service operations. This role requires a devoted and enthusiastic individual who can manage daily operational execution, ensuring the highest quality of service within the established concept. The manager will collaborate closely with the beverage team, motivating and leading them to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The manager's responsibilities include maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements, including state liquor laws and gaming agency mandates, monitoring the maintenance and sanitation of outlets and equipment, and managing scheduling for hourly team members.

In this role, the Beverage Operations Manager will also be tasked with managing budget constraints and adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure profitability and quality. The successful candidate will exemplify professionalism consistent with the Live! brand values and have the ability to extend guest compliments within established company guidelines. This position requires someone with thorough knowledge of bar and restaurant practices, possession of RAMP and Serv-Safe certifications, and the capability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be RAMP and Serv-Safe certified
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a related position
  • Knowledge of restaurant and bar operational procedures
  • Ability to understand financial data and perform basic arithmetic
  • Full working knowledge of POS systems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain state gaming licensure
  • Knowledge of Responsible Gaming Program
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to handle frequent lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Some college preferred
  • Must be RAMP and Serv-Safe certified
  • Three full years of employment in related position
  • Thorough knowledge of restaurant and bar practices and procedures
  • Ability to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions
  • Full working knowledge of POS
  • Must be able to qualify for and maintain licensure as required by the State Gaming Agency
  • Knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program
  • Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Ability to handle items weighing up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Oversees beverage service and ensures guest satisfaction with orders delivered in a timely manner
  • Assists in retaining and motivating employees
  • Provides high quality service and product to guests while adhering to budget constraints by managing the beverage operations in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Monitor and control the maintenance and sanitation of the outlets and equipment to protect assets, comply with regulations and ensure quality service
  • Schedule hourly team members
  • Understand all state liquor regulations and ensure compliance of all applicable liquor laws for the department
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory controls and the State Gaming Agency
  • Demonstrates professionalism that reflects the brand and company values
  • Ability to extend complimentaries in accordance with the property comp matrix
