Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in food and beverage roles preferred
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency in English
Physical ability to perform job duties
Understanding of basic accounting principles

Job Qualifications

Experience in food and beverage management in a hotel or restaurant setting
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and alcohol regulations
Ability to plan and manage budgets effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Customer service orientation
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred

Job Duties

Direct and organize the activities of the Food and Beverage departments to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service
Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food and Beverage department to meet daily operational needs
Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff
Collaborate with event planners to coordinate banquet services and logistics
Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to feedback
