The Hilton New York Times Square is a premier full-service hotel located in the heart of one of the most iconic neighborhoods in New York City. With 478 stylish rooms, this hotel offers guests an immersive experience just steps from the vibrant energy of Times Square, where world-renowned restaurants, shopping, and Broadway theaters abound. Guests can also enjoy nearby attractions including Central Park, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, and Grand Central Station, all within a mile of the hotel. Among its standout features is the Outdoor Terrace that provides spectacular views of the bustling city below. Additionally, the hotel boasts a newly renovated restaurant that offers its patrons iconic views of New York City, enhancing the overall dining experience. As part of this, the Hilton New York Times Square is currently seeking a Food and Beverage Manager who will become a pivotal part of the hotel’s operations and guest service excellence.
This Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage services at this upscale property, including the restaurant, lounge, room service, and coffee shop. The role demands a strategic leader skilled in managing operations to ensure that all service standards, product quality, and cost controls are met with excellence. This includes budgeting, forecasting, marketing initiatives, and compliance with health and safety standards. The position requires managing a unionized team, which calls for strong supervisory skills and professional development capabilities to motivate and grow team members. The candidate must possess knowledge of key systems used in hospitality operations such as Agilysis POS, Unifocus, OnDemand, and Smart Spend. Hilton seeks a candidate with full availability who can manage shifts starting as early as 6:30 am and as late as 2:00 pm, including weekends and holidays. The role offers a competitive annual salary range between $67,000 and $80,000.

Job Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in food and beverage management preferably in a hotel restaurant
- Ability to manage a unionized team
- Must be available to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of relevant POS and management systems
- Strong supervisory and development skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of food and beverage leadership experience
- Experience managing a unionized team
- Familiarity with Agilysis POS, Unifocus, OnDemand, and Smart Spend systems
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Manage all outlet operations including guest service standards, product quality, cost controls, marketing initiatives, and budgeting
- Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, professional development, counseling, evaluations, and recognition
- Assess product and service satisfaction trends and implement improvements
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
- Initiate and implement marketing and up-selling techniques to maximize revenue
- Ensure team members have current knowledge of offerings, products, services, facilities, events, pricing, and policies
- Recruit, interview, and train team members
