Job Description

This opening is with a prominent hospitality company recognized for delivering exceptional food and beverage services within a bustling and dynamic environment. The organization operates several food and beverage outlets, making it a leading player in the hospitality sector. Committed to fostering a positive workplace culture and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service, this company is dedicated to providing memorable experiences for its guests. It supports employees through thorough training, performance evaluations, and efficient communication channels, guaranteeing that every service interaction meets or exceeds guest expectations. Employees are encouraged to uphold the company's core values of teamwork, leadership, and guest focus, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the dining establishments they manage. This company is an equal opportunity employer, promoting diversity and inclusion in its workforce, providing a supportive environment free from discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.

The role available is a full-time, non-exempt Food and Beverage Outlet Supervisor position, crucial for the smooth daily operations and customer satisfaction in the company’s food and beverage outlets. The supervisor is responsible for overseeing front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and bussers, and directly supervises over 30 employees across multiple outlets. This position requires balancing effective service delivery with cost management by employing strategic staff scheduling and motivating the team through training and leadership, particularly during busy periods such as holidays and weekends.

This role demands meticulous attention to service standards, cleanliness, safety, and health regulations while maintaining efficient inventory and financial processes, including cash handling and revenue tracking. Supervisors coordinate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timing and menu delivery are seamless, enhancing the overall guest experience. Additionally, the role requires the ability to manage and resolve safety or maintenance issues promptly, ensuring that dining areas and workspaces adhere to safety and sanitation standards.

The successful candidate will champion communication both within the team and across departments, hosting monthly staff meetings and participating in interdepartmental gatherings to foster coherence and continuous improvement. They must also ensure payroll and scheduling accuracy, compliance with human resources policies, and the administration of digital systems such as Micros and Clover for food and beverage programming.

The position requires excellent physical stamina due to the nature of the work environment, which includes exposure to kitchen heat, steam, noise, and the utilization of kitchen appliances. Physical duties include standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and navigating the fast pace of a food service environment while maintaining composure and professionalism at all times.

Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma or equivalent, prior food service experience, and preferably supervisory experience. No additional travel is required, providing stability for those looking for a role deeply embedded in the day-to-day operations of a hospitality leader. Through this role, candidates will develop and demonstrate leadership, time management, and stress management skills in a team-oriented setting dedicated to guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
