Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, food service, business or related field
- Minimum of three years restaurant or related hospitality experience
- Minimum three years supervisory experience
- Bar experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Must be able to communicate in English effectively
- Must possess valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- Must obtain and maintain Responsible Beverage Service certification
- Must obtain and maintain ServSafe certification
- May be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license by the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform sedentary work including computer operation
- Must present a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with legal regulations
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, food service, business or related field
- Minimum of three years of restaurant or related hospitality experience
- Minimum three years of supervisory experience
- Bar experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to communicate change effectively and build commitment
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with relevant laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills in English
- Basic mathematical skills
- Friendly and efficient guest service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm during busy periods
Job Duties
- Manage front-of-house team members and implement training programs to ensure high-quality service
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve complaints promptly
- Oversee venue operations to meet budget targets for revenue, food cost, expense, headcount, and profit
- Collaborate with chefs to manage food costs and maintain menu attractiveness
- Maintain accurate inventory of supplies such as china, glassware, and cutlery
- Ensure venue cleanliness and sanitation standards comply with established codes
- Direct maintenance and repair of equipment and recommend replacements when necessary
