This specific opportunity is for a Food and Beverage Manager position based at the American Airlines Lounge in Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). This role is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range between $70,000 and $72,000 annually. The Food and Beverage Manager will play a critical leadership role in ensuring that guests of American Airlines experience exceptional service and high-quality food and beverage offerings daily. This position requires a hands-on leader who can operate fluidly between front-of-house and back-of-house operations, adapting as necessary to meet operational needs.
The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, sanitation, and safety in compliance with established procedures and performance standards. They will create a positive team culture centered on delivering memorable experiences that align with American Airlines’ brand promise. Exceptional guest satisfaction will be achieved through efficient service, impactful leadership, and maintaining an inviting, clean, and safe environment.
Moreover, the manager will oversee operational reporting, including daily operations, inventory control, and scheduling reports. Candidates suitable for this role will have previous food and beverage management experience, preferably in hotels, restaurants, chain operations, or multi-unit settings. Experience with food costing, inventory management, labor cost control, and scheduling will be advantageous. The role demands a self-motivated individual with a passion for guest service and team motivation, particularly in multi-cultural environments. A minimum of two years of experience in a high-volume food and beverage setting is required.
