Job Duties

  • Maintains profit and loss authority over the assigned location
  • Manages the reservation system, flow of service, staff scheduling, schedule adjustments, and attendance notices
  • Facilitates staff briefings prior to all shifts and is a subject matter expert on all menu items and general guest information
  • Identifies talent internally and externally, interviews, hires, and on-boards new associates with an eye for future leadership
  • Monitors staff performance, provides training and development through evaluations and hands-on education
  • Motivates and challenges the team to achieve high performance while recognizing and rewarding excellence
  • Encourages staff to embrace company mission and values focused on hospitality and guest service
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and communicates expectations
  • Promotes excellent guest service and manages guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintains restaurant cleanliness and sanitation in line with OSHA and local health codes
  • Oversees equipment maintenance and safety standards
  • Manages POS functions including cash handling and accountability
  • Assists with marketing and promotional programs to increase sales
  • Writes schedules that balance financial needs and guest experience
  • Approves payroll hours for restaurant personnel
  • Performs operational roles like Host, Server, Server Assistant, and Food Runner as needed
  • Maintains communication with senior hotel leadership
  • Enforces side work adherence
  • Sustains positive working relationship with kitchen staff
