Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of relevant culinary experience
  • post-secondary education of 2-3 years or equivalent skills
  • ability to manage and train kitchen staff
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation protocols
  • strong organizational and leadership skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • capability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a related culinary position
  • completion of 2-3 years of education beyond high school or equivalent skills
  • sound understanding of food service industry principles and standards
  • proficient in staff supervision and conflict resolution in high-paced kitchens
  • excellent verbal, written, and reading communication skills

Job Duties

  • Organize staff and manage culinary operations
  • supervise daily kitchen activities to ensure efficient and quality production
  • develop menus and recipes with attention to presentation and pricing
  • maintain kitchen safety and hygiene standards
  • oversee equipment maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
  • manage special catering events and offer culinary training
  • provide leadership and guidance to culinary team members
