The Food and Beverage Manager at Aramark plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing culinary operations to deliver exceptional food experiences that delight customers and meet stringent quality and safety standards. Reporting to the General Manager, the Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for designing and implementing kitchen procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity while fostering a collaborative and skilled culinary team. This hands-on leadership role focuses on staff development, client relations, culinary expertise, and adherence to safety protocols. The manager will also collaborate on budget management and the execution of company programs to ensure operational success.
This role requires experience in managing kitchen operations, training and mentoring culinary staff, and a sound understanding of food service industry principles. The Food and Beverage Manager will be instrumental in menu creation, recipe development, and maintaining presentation and quality standards to ensure a remarkably consistent dining experience. Additionally, they will oversee the maintenance of kitchen equipment to guarantee efficient operation and a hygienic environment that complies with all safety and sanitation regulations.

Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a related culinary position
- Completion of 2-3 years of education beyond high school or equivalent skills
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to manage kitchen staff and coordinate operations
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in a related culinary position
- Completion of 2-3 years of education beyond high school or equivalent skills

- Proficient in supervising staff members and resolving issues in a high-speed kitchen setting
- Excellent verbal reading and written communication skills
- Culinary degree beneficial but not required
Job Duties
- Oversee and coordinate culinary operations managing and training kitchen personnel
- Supervise daily kitchen activities to ensure smooth operations and maintain quality standards
- Determine expected food consumption to requisition or procure necessary food items
- Pick out and improve dish concepts and harmonize production processes to ensure quality
- Establish presentation techniques and quality standards and plan and price menus
- Maintain equipment to ensure effective and efficient operation
- Guarantee a safe and hygienic kitchen environment by following safety and sanitation standards
- Manage special catering events and provide culinary guidance or showcases as needed
- Guide and train less experienced culinary employees by sharing techniques and expertise
