The Food & Beverage Manager role at Drive Shack is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets. This role ensures a seamless guest experience, high-quality service, and a motivated and well-trained front-of-house team. The F&B Manager supports the General Manager by managing service standards, staffing, inventory controls, and financial performance. Leadership from the floor is essential, with a focus on driving execution, guest satisfaction, and team development while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards.

This position requires a dynamic and hands-on leader who can manage the fast-paced environment of Drive Shack's food and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled at coaching and motivating teams, resolving guest concerns promptly, and maintaining a visible presence during peak business hours. With responsibilities including scheduling, inventory practices, alcohol service compliance, event collaboration, and financial oversight, the Food & Beverage Manager plays a crucial role in upholding the brand's reputation for excellent hospitality and high operational standards.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in food and beverage operations at a high-volume restaurant or entertainment venue
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand walk and lift up to 50 pounds during shifts
  • valid alcohol service certification or willingness to obtain
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • experience with POS and inventory management systems

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of food and beverage leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant entertainment venue hotel or similar environment
  • strong floor leadership with the ability to coach motivate and delegate effectively
  • excellent communication conflict resolution and customer service skills
  • proven experience with scheduling inventory cost control and financial reporting
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high guest volume and shifting priorities
  • knowledge of POS systems alcohol regulations and hospitality best practices
  • must hold or obtain required alcohol service certifications

Job Duties

  • oversee the daily operation of all food and beverage outlets ensuring consistent service quality and guest experience
  • lead pre-shift meetings communicate service standards and ensure teams are prepared for volume fluctuations events and activations
  • maintain a visible presence on the floor during peak hours supporting staff engaging guests and resolving issues in real time
  • monitor cleanliness organization and equipment readiness across all food and beverage spaces
  • participate in hiring onboarding and training of food and beverage staff including servers bartenders food runners bussers and bar support
  • develop team members through coaching feedback and performance evaluations identify high performers and growth opportunities
  • ensure all staff follow service standards policies alcohol guidelines and safety protocols
