Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • must speak, read, write and understand English
  • must be able to listen and communicate effectively with all employees and guests
  • must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
  • must have the ability to approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
  • must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
  • must be willing to perform other duties as requested by management while always maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor

Job Duties

  • Oversees daily aspects of the restaurant/bar operation
  • responds to guests in a timely manner
  • is visible on the floor to assist staff as needed
  • works with other F&B managers to guarantee success in the outlet
  • keeps immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring attention
  • monitors quality of service and food in F&B outlet
  • ensures compliance with all local liquor laws, and health and sanitation regulations
  • ensures the training of employees on SOP's and technical job tasks
  • participates in departmental meetings and related trainings
  • understands, implements and monitors promotions in outlets
