Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must speak, read, write and understand English
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and guests
  • Capability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
  • Attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented attitude
  • Problem-solving skills including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as requested by management

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to listen and communicate effectively with all employees and guests
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
  • Must have the ability to approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
  • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
  • Must be willing to perform other duties as requested by management while always maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor

Job Duties

  • Oversees daily aspects of the restaurant/bar operation
  • Responds to guests in a timely manner
  • Is visible on the floor to assist staff as needed
  • Works with other food and beverage managers to guarantee success in the outlet
  • Keeps immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring attention
  • Monitors quality of service and food in food and beverage outlet
  • Ensures compliance with all local liquor laws and health and sanitation regulations
  • Ensures the training of employees on standard operating procedures and technical job tasks
  • Participates in departmental meetings and related trainings
  • Understands, implements and monitors promotions in outlets
