The role being offered is Food & Beverage Manager, a pivotal leadership position within the hotel’s Food & Beverage department. This role demands a strong leader who will select, train, evaluate, motivate, coach, and when necessary, discipline employees across various Food & Beverage operations including Pool & Winter Dining, Banquets, and In-Room Dining. The manager will uphold Four Seasons' cultural and core standards, ensuring the delivery of top-tier service and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include long-term strategic planning for outlet operations, maintaining visibility on the floor to recognize staff efforts and foster public relations, and managing guest concerns with professionalism and tact.

This position requires skilled oversight of food quality, preparation methods, and knowledge of wine and spirits, all delivered within an elegant, attentive, and distinctive environment. The manager will collaborate closely with the Hotel Manager and Food & Beverage Leadership Team to develop effective menus and amenities that balance excellence with fair pricing. Operational efficiency is paramount, with duties encompassing labor control, budget management, purchasing, inventory, and cash handling. Moreover, the manager is responsible for the upkeep and improvement recommendations of the physical environment and equipment within their outlets.

Preferred qualifications include comprehensive experience within luxury food and beverage or hospitality operations, familiarity with division operations and Four Seasons' operational standards, and competence with food and beverage service, cost and labor control, merchandising, accounting, and computer systems specific to the hospitality industry.

This position is full-time with an annual salary range of $77,000 to $80,000, complemented by an Annual Incentive Program. Job Requirements

  • Work authorization in the United States required
  • Prior experience in luxury food and beverage or hospitality operations
  • Ability to operate food and beverage computer systems
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service and cost control
  • Capability to lead a team effectively
  • Education in hospitality or related field preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of division operations and four seasons cultural core standards policies and procedures
  • Prior experience leading a team in luxury food and beverage or hospitality operations
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service cost control labor control maintenance merchandising and accounting
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and food and beverage computer systems

Job Duties

  • Select train evaluate lead motivate coach and discipline all employees in the hotel’s food and beverage departments
  • Oversee operations of the pool and winter dining departments with support to banquets and in room dining teams
  • Ensure established cultural and core standards are met including strategic planning for outlet operations
  • Provide visibility in the operation by recognizing staff promoting public relations and handling guest complaints concerns or special requests
  • Describe ensure quality of all food items ingredients and preparation methods and provide knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment
  • Collaborate with hotel manager and food and beverage leadership team to design effective menu and amenity options ensuring excellent product quality at fair prices
  • Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling budgeting purchasing decisions inventory and cash control
  • Monitor physical condition of facilities and equipment and recommend corrections or improvements as needed
