Job Requirements
- Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays
- at least two years of leadership experience in food and beverage
- strong working knowledge of scheduling, ordering, receiving, inventory management, and floor operations
- excellent communication skills
- ability to manage and resolve conflicts
- capability to read and implement SOPs and policies
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to lift 20-40 lbs
- ability to stand continuously and cover all areas of outlets
- no kneeling required
- must work well within a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- More than two years of post-high school education
- at least two years of experience in a food and beverage leadership role
- experience overseeing multiple outlets and/or banquets preferred
- experience managing a diverse wine selection and seasonal beverage program preferred
- strong knowledge of scheduling, ordering, receiving, inventory management, and floor management
- excellent oral communication skills
- excellent comprehension skills for reading and implementing policies and procedures
- knowledge of food safety and chemicals/agents for training purposes
Job Duties
- Manage the human resources within the department
- direct and oversee recruitment and development of employees
- hire, train, empower, coach and counsel
- conduct performance and salary reviews
- resolve conflict through fair treatment policy, discipline and terminate as appropriate
- develop, recommend, implement and manage the department's annual budget, business/marketing plan, forecasts and objectives
- implement and manage all company programs to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, sanitary regulations, and all federal, state and local regulations
- market the food and beverage outlets
- develop and manage menus, package deals, promotions, displays, decorations and presentations within corporate guidelines
- manage the maintenance and sanitation of food and beverage areas and equipment
- respond to customer needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure quality experience and enhance future sales prospects
