Job Description

The Elizabeth Hotel and Emporium, part of Sage Hospitality, is a vibrant and expressive hospitality establishment located in Old Town Fort Collins. Inspired by music, art, and the character of its surrounding community, the hotel offers more than just a place to stay—it creates moments that spark connection, creativity, and community. Each visit is characterized by uniquely curated experiences, whether it's enjoying live music at the Magic Rat, savoring rooftop cocktails at the Sunset Lounge, or indulging in locally inspired dishes at The Emporium. The company culture celebrates individuality, inclusion, and creativity, making it an exciting and supportive workplace for team members who bring passion and personality to their roles.

As a Food & Beverage Manager at The Elizabeth Hotel, you will oversee all aspects of the Front of House Food & Beverage operations. This leadership role requires managing multiple food and beverage outlets including the Emporium, Bowerbird Coffee, Magic Rat, Sunset Lounge, as well as Banquets and Events when needed. The position demands a collaborative spirit, working closely with Front of House and Back of House managers, as well as other departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Desk to ensure smooth daily operations. This role is crucial in shaping guests' experiences by maintaining top-notch service standards, managing diverse teams, and driving business success through innovative marketing and operational excellence.

Responsibility extends beyond day-to-day operations to include the development, recruitment, and coaching of the food and beverage team. You will actively participate in hiring, training, and empowering employees while providing ongoing performance reviews and managing talent retention. Additionally, crafting and overseeing department budgets, business plans, and marketing strategies to meet corporate objectives aligns with the managerial duties. Ensuring compliance with safety standards, sanitation regulations, and all federal, state, and local laws is essential to maintaining quality and guest satisfaction.

An understanding and management of a diverse wine selection and seasonal beverage program would be a valuable asset, supporting the establishment's aspiration to offer exceptional and creative culinary experiences. The role also includes hands-on engagement in inventory control, scheduling, ordering, receiving, and floor operations management. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of leadership experience in the food and beverage industry, with prior exposure to overseeing multiple outlets or banquets.

This position requires availability for nights, weekends, and holidays due to the hospitality industry's 24/7 nature. The salary range offered for this role is between USD 58,500 and USD 65,000 annually, reflecting the expertise and responsibilities involved. The Elizabeth Hotel and Emporium fosters an environment where team members can grow personally and professionally, benefiting from flexible scheduling, wellness resources, tuition reimbursement, and a range of perks including team meals and travel discounts. Candidates who thrive in a dynamic, creative, and community-centered atmosphere will find this role highly rewarding and impactful.
