As the Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) at Wawa, you will play a critical leadership role overseeing all food and beverage operations at your location. You will collaborate closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to ensure that daily operations are seamless, efficient, and customer-focused. Your primary responsibility is to maintain a fresh, high-quality food and beverage program that meets and exceeds customer expectations daily. This role demands a passionate leader who is proactive about driving food service sales, achieving performance goals, and fostering a culture of consistency and quality. You will become the in-store expert on food programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives, making you an essential driver of the store's success and customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will lead and motivate the Customer Service Associates by delivering comprehensive training programs that enhance their skills and commitment to exceptional service. You will be responsible for managing the hiring processes, scheduling, and ongoing team development, recognizing high performance while supporting associates' growth and career advancement. Maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting food service area that complies with all health and safety standards is another crucial aspect of your job. You will oversee inventory management, ordering, and the upkeep of equipment to ensure operations run smoothly without interruptions. The Food & Beverage Manager position offers an hourly wage range of $22.70 to $28.40, commensurate with experience and location, along with eligibility for monthly bonus incentives. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Leadership experience, ideally in food service or retail environments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving skills to drive results and improve operations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Take ownership of our food and beverage programs-fresh food, grab-and-go meals, beverages, catering, and more
  • Drive food service sales and hit performance goals with a focus on quality and consistency
  • Monitor trends and work with peers to create action plans to optimize results
  • Become the in-store expert on food programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives
  • Own and deliver training for Customer Service Associates to build proficiency and motivate them to provide outstanding customer service
  • Support hiring, scheduling, training, and team development
  • Recognize great performance and help Associates grow
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting food service area that meets all health and safety standards
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and equipment upkeep to support smooth and efficient operations
