Founded in 1964, Wawa has grown into a prominent organization operating hundreds of stores across several states, famed for its fresh food offerings, quality beverages, and exceptional customer service. Wawa prides itself on a culture that values team spirit, innovation, and continuous growth, where associates are not just employees but owner-operators contributing directly to the brand's success and well-being of the communities they serve. The company is deeply committed to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace where every associate can thrive, develop new skills, and achieve their career aspirations. Wawa offers a dynamic and rewarding environment that fosters professional and personal growth.

The Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) at Wawa plays a crucial role in the daily operations of the store, overseeing all food and beverage programs and ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This position works collaboratively with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to provide a seamless and efficient experience for customers. The FBM takes ownership of managing fresh food offerings, grab-and-go meals, beverages, catering services, and other food-related programs. A strong emphasis is placed on driving food service sales, meeting performance goals, and maintaining consistent quality. The role involves monitoring industry trends and collaborating with peers to optimize results and innovate service strategies.

The FBM serves as the in-store subject matter expert on all food programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives, ensuring that training and development of Customer Service Associates are aligned with Wawa's customer-first philosophy. Responsibilities include supporting hiring processes, scheduling, training, team motivation, and recognizing outstanding performance to facilitate associate growth and retention. Additionally, the manager is tasked with maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting food service area compliant with health and safety regulations. Overseeing inventory control, ordering, and equipment maintenance is essential to support smooth operations. This role demands excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Wawa offers an hourly pay range for this position between $22.70 and $28.40, depending on experience, position, and location. Associates in this role are also eligible for monthly bonus incentives. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, mental health support, employee stock ownership plans, 401(k) with matching, education assistance, paid parental leave, store discounts, paid time off, flexible schedules, and access to various wellness programs. Committed to equal employment opportunities, Wawa provides reasonable accommodations to applicants and fosters an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with respect, embracing diversity and inclusion in all employment decisions. Joining Wawa as a Food & Beverage Manager means becoming part of a dedicated team that values collaboration, innovation, and progress while contributing to the company’s growth and the community’s well-being.
