Job Description

The hiring establishment is a dynamic restaurant known for its commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences through excellent service and high-quality food. As a key player in the hospitality industry, this restaurant prides itself on creating an inviting atmosphere where guests feel valued and satisfied. The establishment emphasizes sustainability and financial responsibility while fostering a positive workplace culture that motivates employees to excel and grow professionally.

The role of Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager is crucial in driving both the operational and financial success of the restaurant. This position demands a seasoned professional who can skillfully balance cost control, uphold quality standards, and enhance guest satisfaction. The F&B Manager will be responsible for developing and executing short- and long-term financial and operational strategies aligned with the company’s objectives. This includes preparing, managing, and monitoring the annual budget to ensure profitability and sustainability. Evaluating restaurant performance through customer satisfaction systems and financial reporting is a key part of the role, requiring timely corrective actions to maintain excellence.

Quality assurance is central to this position, with regular evaluations to uphold product and service standards. The F&B Manager will lead initiatives that foster revenue growth through effective sales and marketing programs. Additionally, proactive human resource practices will be maintained, focusing on employee motivation, training, compliance with labor laws, and developmental opportunities to build a strong and skilled team. The successful candidate will oversee preventative maintenance programs to safeguard the restaurant's physical assets and enforce security practices that ensure the safety of both employees and guests.

Communication across all staffing levels is vital, with the F&B Manager acting as a bridge to foster effective two-way dialogue and teamwork. Innovating new initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency will also be integral to the responsibility portfolio. This role not only demands strong leadership and management capabilities but also a strategic mindset to inspire, train, and develop diverse teams. Financial acumen, problem-solving, conflict-resolution skills, and a steadfast guest-focused attitude are essential traits for thriving in this position. The role typically requires a minimum of three years of supervisory experience in food and beverage settings, combined with prior experience in hosting and serving roles, which contribute to a comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations.

Education requirements include a high school diploma as mandatory, with a preference for candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, or related fields. Certifications such as TIPS or Title IV are also required to ensure compliance with industry standards. This is a full-time employment opportunity offering competitive salary potential, with benefits designed to support the health, security, and job satisfaction of employees throughout their tenure.
