The Food & Beverage Manager role at Drive Shack is pivotal for delivering the exceptional guest experience that defines the brand. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring that the highest standards of service, quality, and hospitality are consistently met. The manager will work closely with the General Manager and culinary leadership to coordinate front-of-house functions, including staff supervision, inventory management, compliance with health and safety standards, and financial oversight. Beyond operational responsibilities, the role requires a hands-on leader who thrives on engagement—both with guests and team members—and who is dedicated to fostering a motivated and skilled workforce through coaching and development.

This full-time position demands a proactive approach to managing fluctuating business volumes, special events, and guest expectations. The Food & Beverage Manager is expected to lead by example on the floor, maintain visibility during high-traffic periods, and handle any issues swiftly to maintain guest satisfaction. They will also manage scheduling to optimize labor costs, oversee inventory controls to reduce waste, and ensure adherence to alcohol service laws and company policies. Supporting marketing initiatives, private events, and promotional activities is also a key aspect of the role. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage operations
  • strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • physical ability to stand walk and lift up to 50 pounds during shifts
  • valid alcohol service certification or willingness to obtain

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of F&B leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant entertainment venue hotel or similar environment
  • strong floor leadership with the ability to coach motivate and delegate effectively
  • excellent communication conflict resolution and customer service skills
  • proven experience with scheduling inventory cost control and financial reporting
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high guest volume and shifting priorities
  • knowledge of POS systems alcohol regulations and hospitality best practices
  • must hold or obtain required alcohol service certifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee the daily operation of all food and beverage outlets ensuring consistent service quality and guest experience
  • lead pre-shift meetings communicating service standards ensuring teams are prepared for volume fluctuations events and activations
  • maintain a visible presence on the floor during peak hours supporting staff engaging guests and resolving issues in real time
  • monitor cleanliness organization and equipment readiness across all F&B spaces
  • participate in hiring onboarding and training of F&B staff including servers bartenders food runners bussers and bar support
  • develop team members through coaching feedback and performance evaluations identify high performers and growth opportunities
  • ensure all staff follow service standards policies alcohol guidelines and safety protocols
