The role available is for a Food & Beverage Manager, a vital leadership position responsible for overseeing multiple outlets within the hotel, including banquets, in-room dining, and event spaces. Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, the Food & Beverage Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring guests enjoy extraordinary dining experiences that reflect the hotel’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. This role demands strong leadership capabilities, extensive food and beverage knowledge, a service-oriented approach, and the ability to manage high-volume operations successfully. The opportunity entails managing a dedicated team of hospitality professionals, developing strategic financial plans including budgeting and revenue growth, and maintaining exemplary standards compliant with health and brand regulations. Job Duties

  • Managing, coaching, and developing a team of committed hospitality professionals
  • delivering exceptional guest and corporate experiences by setting high standards
  • managing food and beverage standards to uphold responsible business practices
  • working closely with the Hotel Manager and finance team to set, monitor and refine budgets and drive revenue
  • multitasking to oversee multiple food and beverage outlets, banquets, and in-room dining facilities
  • motivating and managing a team of front of the house colleagues for food and beverage
  • assisting with the budget, marketing plans and objectives and managing within those approved plans
  • implementing and maintaining food and beverage sales and marketing programs
  • mentorship and overseeing the development of employees
  • hiring, training, empowering, coaching, counseling and conducting annual performance reviews
  • directing the implementation of payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budget for food and beverage operations
  • coordinating food and beverage operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service
  • resolving guest complaints to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
  • implementing procedures to increase guest and associate satisfaction
  • exercising quality control for both food and beverage
  • maintaining standards of service and ensuring their implementation
  • performing daily walk-throughs to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and brand standards
  • coaching and counseling employees to reflect brand service standards and procedures
  • maintaining schedules for multiple outlets each week based on forecast and event schedules
  • ensuring all colleagues maintain current food and alcohol permits at all times
  • must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • other duties as assigned
