Job Description

The hiring establishment is a vibrant and dynamic resort located in St. Petersburg that combines the allure of music, beach culture, and exceptional dining experiences. This resort features multiple high-energy food and beverage outlets that cater to both casual beachgoers and guests seeking elevated dining and event experiences. Notably, the property includes SkyBar + Grille—a two-story beachfront bar and grille offering lively atmosphere and poolside service—and LUMA, an elevated waterfront dining concept known for its refined culinary offerings. Alongside these, the resort hosts extensive banquet and event operations that include weddings, live music shows, brunches, DJs, and private events, making it a premier destination for guests looking to enjoy beachfront relaxation coupled with exceptional entertainment and food service.

The resort focuses heavily on delivering a cohesive, guest-first experience across all outlets, ensuring that each service point—from casual beach bars to sophisticated dining rooms and large-scale events—operates flawlessly and with a strong emphasis on quality and guest satisfaction. The culture at the resort is fast-paced, high-volume, and designed to keep pace with the energy of beachfront life while maintaining a high standard of service that appeals to both local patrons and vacationing guests. This commitment to excellence is reflected in every facet of the resort’s food and beverage operations.

As Food & Beverage Manager, you will primarily be based at SkyBar + Grille, the heart of the action, while also providing essential support to LUMA and overseeing the execution of banquets and events. This is truly an in-the-field role—not a desk job—requiring strong leadership during sun-up to sun-down shifts in an outdoor, high-energy environment.

Your responsibilities will revolve around operational leadership, driving revenue, managing financial metrics such as labor and cost of goods, ensuring compliance with safety and alcohol service standards, and cultivating a vibrant but polished atmosphere that enhances both the guest experience and team performance. You will oversee training, scheduling, and development of the front-of-house team, manage inventory and beverage programs, and play an instrumental role in orchestrating large-scale events—from casual beach parties to sophisticated weddings and resort programming.

Ideal candidates will bring proven experience in high-volume beach bar or resort environments, have demonstrated success managing elevated dining concepts and banquets, and possess expert knowledge of bar and beverage operations. The role demands a person who thrives in fast-paced settings, leads from the front, and balances lively, fun energy with refined service. Recognizing that a well-rounded guest experience involves seamless flow, energetic service, and strong financial oversight, you will have the opportunity to drive growth, enhance guest satisfaction, and be a key contributor to the resort’s reputation as a top-tier dining and event destination.

This full-time position offers a salary in the range of $50,000 to $60,000 annually, complemented by paid time off and benefits, underscoring the resort’s commitment to attracting and retaining skilled professionals invested in the property’s ongoing success and evolution.
