Job Requirements
- College degree
- Five years of related experience in hotel operations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Significant attention to detail
- Complete understanding of NOI profitability and budget goals
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
- Knowledge of health department rules and regulations
- Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations
- Computer skills
- Experience with hotel information systems preferred

Job Duties
- Monitor industry trends and update cocktail lists and menu items as necessary
- Prepare the food and beverage budget and monitor department performance
- Work closely with the General Manager and report on food and beverage issues
- Coordinate and monitor loss prevention efforts in the food and beverage department
- Prepare and submit required reports timely
- Organize and conduct regular department meetings
- Ensure compliance with liquor laws, health, and sanitation regulations
- Ensure departmental training and compliance with standard operating procedures
- Interview candidates and manage hiring standards for front-of-house positions
- Conduct and attend all required meetings including pre-event and post-event meetings
- Provide employees with tools and environment for exceptional dining experience
- Develop and implement employee engagement strategies
- Maintain product consistency through inspections
- Create an unforgettable dining experience in restaurant and banquet facilities
- Approach guests and employees with attentiveness and professionalism
- Attend all hotel-required meetings and trainings
- Maintain high standards of team appearance and grooming
- Maximize productivity and identify problem areas implementing solutions
- Handle problems effectively through anticipation and resolution
- Perform other duties as requested by management
