Located near the picturesque River Oaks neighborhood and the dynamic Uptown area, The Greenleigh stands as a premier destination for sophisticated travelers and locals alike. This unique setting offers a perfect escape to an urban oasis, enriched by unexpected creativity and a commitment to excellence. The Greenleigh embraces Houston's diverse culture and promises to elevate the experience of every guest through thoughtful design and exceptional service.
Within The Greenleigh, food and beverage services transcend traditional hospitality to become immersive experiences that delight and inspire. The hotel is actively seeking a Food & Beverage Manager who is dynamic, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving operational success while delivering unforgettable guest experiences. This role will hold a key leadership position overseeing one or more venues within the hotel, ensuring not only precision in daily operations but also strategic financial management. The Food & Beverage Manager will collaborate closely with property leadership to maintain impeccable service standards, orchestrate banquet and event functions, and uphold the organization’s commitment to quality.
The ideal candidate embodies a balance of guest-centric focus and financial acumen, with a proven ability to cultivate and lead strong teams. This role demands hands-on experience in managing food and beverage operations, alongside an innovative mindset to explore new revenue streams and enhance profitability. As an integral part of the Makeready collection, The Greenleigh offers a supportive work environment that prioritizes employee well-being and growth. The Food & Beverage Manager will be expected to lead, mentor, and develop team members to maintain a high-performing culture that aligns with the brand’s guiding principles.
In addition to operational excellence, the manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, presiding over inventory and payroll management, and fostering transparent communication through regular team meetings. Such responsibilities require a professional with strong leadership qualities, effective communication skills, and a deep understanding of industry trends to keep the hotel’s food and beverage offerings competitive and relevant.
At The Greenleigh, the role is more than a job; it is an opportunity to be part of a visionary project that redefines luxury hospitality in Houston. The expected candidate will work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays, to support the dynamic nature of hotel operations. The Greenleigh upholds inclusive values by promoting equal opportunity and embracing individuality within the workplace, ensuring every team member can succeed based on merit and performance.
