The Food & Beverage Manager plays a pivotal role in one of the most iconic hospitality destinations, bringing outlets to life by creating unforgettable guest experiences, leading high-performing teams, and setting the tone for exceptional service. This role is rooted in passion, presence, and pride in every moment of service. The manager oversees several popular venues including Durty Nelly's Irish Pub, Fiume Pizzeria & Wine Bar, River's Edge Cafe, Coffee Cupboard, and Rincon Alegre Lobby Bar, ensuring each outlet delivers top-tier dining and beverage services that meet the highest hospitality standards.
As part of the leadership team, the Food & Beverage Manager is entrusted with the responsibility to uphold the quality and consistency of food and beverage operations, ensuring superior guest satisfaction while maintaining operational efficiency. This position blends operational oversight, team management, and customer interaction to drive continuous improvement within the outlets. The manager assures that every aspect of the service - from set-up, cleanliness, to the timely delivery of orders and guest engagement - is meticulously handled with attention to detail. Their role extends beyond supervision to active participation in guest feedback collection and responsive resolution of any issues, promoting an environment of excellence and care.
Highly visible throughout the restaurants and kitchen areas during operational hours, the Food & Beverage Manager monitors product quality, presentation, temperature, and service standards, making real-time corrections and training staff to meet or exceed expectations consistently. This role demands a thorough understanding of food safety laws and compliance with hotel policies as well as local, state, and federal regulations. The manager also ensures the inventory of necessary dining provisions such as linen, glassware, silverware, china, and condiments is adequate to support seamless service operations.
Demonstrating positive leadership by empowering team members, setting clear work assignments, and fostering a collaborative environment is crucial. The manager guides the staff to provide friendly, courteous, and timely service, while also helping servers and bartenders understand and effectively promote specials and restaurant promotions to guests. The ability to actively listen, communicate clearly, and analyze feedback empowers the manager to make informed decisions that enhance operational success and customer satisfaction.
Education requirements for this role include at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for candidates possessing two or more years of relevant experience. Specific certifications such as Food Handlers Certification and TABC are mandatory, with CPR certification considered a plus. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality, keen on leading dynamic teams, and dedicated to crafting memorable dining experiences across various popular outlets within a busy and vibrant hospitality setting.
