As a Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) at Wawa, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all food and beverage operations within the store. Your responsibilities will include managing the quality and consistency of food programs, fostering an environment that prioritizes efficiency, freshness, and customer satisfaction. Working closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, you will take ownership of the food and beverage offerings, ensuring that all products meet the company’s high standards and that service is delivered seamlessly every day. This role demands a blend of leadership, operational expertise, and customer service excellence.

Your key focus will be driving food service sales and achieving performance goals by monitoring current trends in the market and collaborating with your team to implement action plans that optimize results. As the in-store expert on food programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives, you will lead training sessions with Customer Service Associates to enhance their proficiency and motivate them to deliver outstanding service. Your leadership will also extend to hiring, scheduling, training, and team development, ensuring the workforce is well-prepared, recognized for great performance, and continuously growing.

Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations in the food service area, you will maintain an inviting and safe environment for both associates and customers. You will also oversee inventory management, ordering processes, and equipment maintenance to support smooth operations, reducing downtime and boosting operational efficiency.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23.40 to $31.55, commensurate with experience, position, and location. Additionally, associates in this role are eligible for monthly bonus incentives that reward performance and dedication. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong leadership experience in food service or retail environments preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled problem solving
  • Previous experience in training and team development
