The Food & Beverage Manager role at Legends Global is an exciting opportunity within the TCC complex, requiring a seasoned professional to oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations. This includes managing schedules, monitoring inventory, and procuring supplies for various events held at the venue, ranging from concerts and sports games to corporate functions. The role demands proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation to maintain profitability while ensuring competitive pricing strategies. The manager will maintain the POS system to optimize inventory control and reporting accuracy, enabling efficient operational oversight.

A pivotal aspect of this position is the focus on customer satisfaction; the manager must uphold high-quality standards in food and beverage service, swiftly addressing any customer inquiries or complaints to ensure a positive guest experience. Compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations is paramount, alongside adhering to licensing requirements for food and alcohol service. Regular inspections to maintain these standards are a core responsibility. Collaboration is key, as the Food & Beverage Manager works closely with event planners and other departments to tailor food and beverage offerings to meet the unique demands of each event. Creative development of innovative menus that reflect current food trends, alongside managing supplier relationships to negotiate contracts and ensure timely deliveries, completes the spectrum of duties.

This position also involves supervisory responsibilities including recruiting, hiring, training, and performance management of the Food & Beverage Department staff. The Food & Beverage Manager embodies leadership qualities with a strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills to engage effectively with a diverse team, vendors, clients, and guests. With operations requiring flexibility, the role necessitates working variable hours including nights, weekends, and holidays to cover all events. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Food and Beverage management
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety food service regulations
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Proficient with spreadsheet and word processing software
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management Culinary Arts or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Food and Beverage management preferably in a venue or arena setting

Job Duties

  • Oversee food and beverage operations including scheduling inventory management and procurement of supplies for all events
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance including budgeting cost control revenue generation and pricing strategies
  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts for management review
  • Ensure POS system is maintained and fully utilized for inventory control and accurate reporting
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by upholding quality standards and promptly addressing inquiries and complaints
  • Ensure compliance with health safety sanitation regulations and licensing requirements through regular inspections
  • Collaborate with event planners and departments to create customized food and beverage plans
  • Develop and implement innovative menus reflecting current trends
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and distributors to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery
  • Manage hiring training evaluating and disciplining Food and Beverage Department employees
