The Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager role at this resort is pivotal in maintaining the outstanding standards of the property’s beverage operations. This full-time managerial position focuses on achieving monthly forecasted beverage revenue goals while rigorously controlling operational costs within the department. The successful candidate will play a key role in the annual budget preparation, ensuring that all projected revenues, expenses, and capital expenditures, including operating equipment and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), are accurately accounted for in the resort’s Annual Business Plan.

In this capacity, the F&B Manager will also have hands-on responsibility for financial controls, including the correct settlement of all sales transactions, cashier and bar float management, and adherence to prescribed cash handling procedures. They will oversee a team of F&B professionals, assigning duties and implementing multitasking principles to maximize efficiency and service quality. They will work closely with the Human Resources Department to develop a pool of qualified part-time employees ensuring adequate staffing aligned with business patterns.

The role demands active presence on the floor, especially during peak periods such as happy hours and special events, promoting the hotel’s facilities and maximizing sales opportunities. Strong coordination with the Kitchen and Beverage Departments is essential to maintain operational flow and uphold quality standards. Job Duties

  • Ensure monthly forecasted beverage revenue figures are achieved
  • Adhere to established operating expenses and control all costs
  • Participate in formulating the Annual Operating Budget including projected revenues, expenses, and equipment requirements
  • Obtain and account for correct settlement of all sales, managing cashier and bar floats
  • Handle voiding and corrections of checks as per procedures and account for checks used each shift
  • Manage the outlet efficiently according to the concept statement, providing courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service
  • Assign responsibilities to subordinates, implement multitasking, and periodically check their performance
  • Establish a pool of qualified part-time employees with Human Resources
  • Provide feedback and assist F&B Director on daily operations and service improvement
  • Be present on the floor especially during happy hour and special programs
  • Promote the hotel and its facilities to maximize sales and revenue
  • Implement flexible scheduling based on business patterns
  • Adhere to par stock levels for equipment, supplies, and inventory
  • Conduct monthly inventory checks on equipment and supplies
  • Control requisitioning, storage, and use of equipment and supplies
  • Conduct daily pre-shift briefings on preparation, service, and menu
  • Liaise with Kitchen and Beverage Departments on operations and quality control
  • Have thorough knowledge of all menu items and recommend food and beverage combinations

  • Ensure strict adherence to cashiering procedures and correct operation of POS system
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers
