The role of Assistant General Manager at Topgolf is a full-time position offering the chance to be part of a fast-paced, dynamic hospitality environment where leadership and operational expertise are essential. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for supervising and leading a team dedicated to offering best-in-class service and ensuring guest satisfaction and safety across all areas of the venue. In addition to managing the team, the Assistant General Manager leverages business metrics and trends to optimize performance, maximize profit, and increase revenue. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of restaurant, hotel or golf course management experience
  • At least 1 recent year as an Assistant General Manager or General Manager
  • Ability to work on a team
  • Excellent communication, time management and organization skills
  • Energy and enthusiasm
  • High level of self-awareness, receptivity to change and integrity
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time including maneuvering up and down stairs
  • Ability to obtain required licenses and certifications for your location

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of restaurant, hotel or golf course management experience
  • At least 1 recent year as an Assistant General Manager or General Manager with a restaurant, hotel, or golf environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively on a team
  • High level of self-awareness, receptivity to change and integrity
  • Energy and enthusiasm to lead a dynamic team

Job Duties

  • Supervise the team in providing best-in-class service
  • Coach and develop the team and drive Associate engagement
  • Uphold operating standards and drive Guest safety and satisfaction
  • Ensure all Guest areas are staffed and functioning efficiently
  • Manage the operational duties of their department
  • Delegate and follow-up on the completion of tasks
