Job Description
Invited is a leading company in the hospitality and service industry, established in 1957 with a rich legacy rooted in building meaningful relationships and enriching the lives of its members, guests, and over 17,000 employees nationwide. As the largest owner and operator of private clubs in the United States, Invited manages more than 130 country clubs, city clubs, and athletic clubs that offer premier amenities designed to enhance the lifestyle of its members. These amenities include championship golf courses, modern workspaces, gourmet cuisine crafted by skilled chefs, resort-style swimming pools, state-of-the-art racquet facilities, comprehensive fitness centers, and much more. The company fosters an inclusive culture that values professionalism, teamwork, and delivering exceptional experiences to members and their guests. Invited aims to create welcoming environments where both employees and members feel valued and motivated to contribute to the club’s ongoing success.
The role of Restaurant Manager at Invited is a pivotal junior management position within the club’s food and beverage operations. The Restaurant Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing daily restaurant services by ensuring that food and beverage delivery meets the highest standards of quality and safety, as set by Invited. This role involves directly managing service staff and maintaining seamless service throughout all meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The position requires a hands-on approach during lower volume periods where the manager may step in to provide direct service to uphold smooth operations and an exceptional member experience. Reporting to senior food and beverage leaders such as the Restaurant Director or Food & Beverage Director, the Restaurant Manager plays an essential role in supervising service standards, handling reservations, coordinating room setups, and ensuring that policies and safety protocols are followed meticulously.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to service excellence. They will also engage actively in staff training and development programs, helping to foster a well-trained and motivated team dedicated to exceeding member expectations. This position demands a thorough knowledge of Invited’s menus, including daily specials and beverage options, along with the ability to handle operational details such as opening and closing procedures, reservation management, and maintaining clean and orderly work environments. The Restaurant Manager’s responsibilities extend beyond supervision to include collaboration with fellow team members to address challenges, support club goals, and contribute to overall operational efficiency.
Invited supports its employees through competitive compensation and an extensive Total Rewards package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, and generous paid time off. The company promotes personal and professional growth by encouraging certification maintenance, comprehensive training modules, and a culture that values ethics, integrity, and professional development. With a clear emphasis on safety and member satisfaction, Invited provides an excellent opportunity for those looking to advance their careers in hospitality management within a respected and dynamic organization. This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of two years’ food and beverage experience, strong computer proficiency, and a passion for delivering extraordinary dining experiences in a private club setting.
