The Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) at Wawa plays a pivotal role in upholding the brand's promises by overseeing all food and beverage operations within the store. This position works closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, maintaining smooth and consistent daily operations that highlight freshness, efficiency, and superior customer experience. The FBM is responsible for managing diverse food programs including fresh food selections, grab-and-go meals, beverages, and catering services. With a strategic focus on driving food service sales and meeting performance targets, the manager analyzes market trends and collaborates with peers to implement effective action plans for optimal outcomes. Becoming the in-store expert on all food programs, promotions, and marketing initiatives is essential to ensure alignment with company goals.

A key responsibility of this role is delivering comprehensive training for Customer Service Associates to build their proficiency and foster motivation toward outstanding service. The FBM supports vital team functions including hiring, scheduling, training, and ongoing development, recognizing and nurturing high performance among Associates to promote a positive workplace culture. Maintaining impeccable standards, the manager ensures that the food service area is clean, safe, and compliant with all health and safety regulations. Efficiently managing inventory, ordering processes, and equipment maintenance also forms a critical part of this role, underpinning operational efficiency.

Wawa offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22.70 to $28.40, commensurate with experience, position, and location. Associates in this role are also eligible for monthly bonus incentives, reinforcing performance-driven rewards.
