We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Cobblestone Creek Country Club. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every guest and member enjoys a first-class food and beverage experience. The Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front-of-house food and beverage department, including supervising staff, managing banquet events, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This position requires a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service, with strong organizational and leadership skills. You will lead the hiring, training, and development of all related service personnel, and work closely with other departments to coordinate events and maintain high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
The role also involves budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and implementing innovative sales and marketing programs to increase banquet business and overall food and beverage revenue. Candidates must have previous experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a club environment, with knowledge of relevant health regulations and liquor laws. A college degree is preferred but not mandatory. The work schedule requires flexibility, including availability on weekends and holidays, with a competitive annual salary range of $80,000 to $90,000.

Job Duties
- Daily management of front of house food and beverage department
- assist general manager with banquet and event sales
- inspect and assist with banquet setup and breakdown of tables, decorations, equipment, serving areas, and related activities
- ensure satisfaction by communicating with clients throughout events, assisting banquet staff as needed, and following up with hosts
- hire, supervise and develop bartenders, beverage cart drivers, hosts/hostesses, snack bar attendants and other front of house employees
- conduct training and refresher classes for front of house food and beverage personnel
- daily oversight of front of house food and beverage accounting procedures
- forecasting and budgeting for food and beverage operations
- maintaining cost controls and conducting monthly inventories
- implement and maintain food and beverage sales and marketing programs
- develop and implement marketing programs to increase banquet business
- order alcohol and beverages following purchase order procedures
- ensure quality assurance, guest service and training of employees
- uphold Troon food and beverage policies
- implement Troon human resources guidelines
- coordinate between departments
- develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenues
- plan and coordinate special events and functions
- ensure overall guest satisfaction
- ensure all employees conduct themselves professionally
- perform daily walk-throughs to ensure compliance with health regulations
- comply with health, alcoholic beverage, fire and other laws
- manage closing procedures and cash handling practices
