Job Description

Outback Steakhouse is a well-established name in the casual dining industry, known for its Australian-themed steakhouse dining experience. With a reputation for excellent customer service, hearty meals, and a welcoming atmosphere, Outback Steakhouse operates numerous locations across the region, catering to diverse clientele who appreciate quality food and a vibrant dining environment. The company prides itself on its commitment to delivering a unique blend of hospitality and culinary expertise that resonates with both guests and staff alike. As a leader in the restaurant business, Outback Steakhouse emphasizes a culture of respect, teamwork, and continuous development, making it an ideal place for those looking to build a robust career in food and beverage management.

The role of Food and Beverage Manager at Outback Steakhouse is a dynamic and multifaceted position that serves as the cornerstone of daily restaurant operations. This high-energy leadership role demands a professional who can expertly manage both the Front of House and Back of House activities to ensure that every guest enjoys a world-class experience. The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for harmonizing the technical elements of running a full-service restaurant—including safety protocols, staffing schedules, and compliance with health regulations—with the creative and interpersonal aspects of hospitality. This includes fostering a positive work environment where the unique "No Rules, Just Right" philosophy is embraced by all employees, known as "Outbackers," and felt by every guest.

In this position, you will be directly involved in recruiting, training, and mentoring staff, enabling team members to reach their full potential while maintaining the high standards associated with the Outback brand. Your leadership will be instrumental in upholding the quality and consistency of the menu, from the signature Bloomin' Onion to perfectly prepared steaks, ensuring that each dish not only meets but exceeds guest expectations. The role also requires active community engagement and brand representation, strengthening Outback Steakhouse's presence and popularity within the local market.

This career opportunity offers competitive base pay, plus performance-based bonuses that reward your contribution to the restaurant's success. Along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k retirement plan, and more, this position is well-suited for a motivated professional eager to advance in the hospitality industry. The company values diversity and equal employment opportunities, creating an inclusive environment where all employees can thrive. If you are passionate about leadership in a vibrant restaurant setting and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences, this Food and Beverage Manager role at Outback Steakhouse offers an exciting and rewarding career path.
