With a dedication to creating a welcoming atmosphere, the company prides itself on delivering an exceptional dining experience to each guest through a unique blend of casual dining and attentive customer service. Established as part of Bloomin' Brands, Outback Steakhouse has built a strong reputation within the casual dining industry and continues to expand its footprint nationwide and internationally. As a leader in the restaurant business, Outback emphasizes a culture that values both its customers and employees, promoting a supportive and fun working environment where individuals can grow their careers. The restaurant operates with the core philosophy of "No Rules, Just Right," encouraging its team members, known as "Outbackers," to bring energy and passion to every interaction and task.
The Food and Beverage Manager at Outback Steakhouse plays a crucial role as the heartbeat of daily operations, responsible for seamlessly overseeing both Front of House and Back of House activities. This full-time leadership role requires a high-energy, hands-on approach to managing restaurant operations encompassing safety protocols, staffing, and customer satisfaction. The manager ensures all aspects of the restaurant meet top-tier standards by directing the flow of restaurant service, maintaining presentation quality, and upholding professional standards. Additionally, the Food and Beverage Manager takes charge of recruiting, interviewing, and training new team members to build and maintain a high-performing workforce dedicated to excellent guest experiences. Beyond operational duties, the manager engages in mentoring hourly team members to support their professional development and career progression within the brand.
This role also encompasses menu mastery and preparation standards to guarantee every dish served lives up to the Outback Steakhouse name. Handling guest feedback effectively and turning first-time visitors into lifelong fans is an essential aspect of this job. Moreover, the manager actively represents the brand in the local community through marketing and engagement initiatives that build brand loyalty and recognition. Outback Steakhouse offers competitive base pay that varies by location and includes performance-based bonuses, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, as well as 401k retirement savings options for interested candidates. The company promotes diversity and equal employment opportunities, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds. Candidates interested in joining a vibrant team-oriented atmosphere where fun meets career growth will find this role rewarding.
