Job Description

Useppa Island Club is an exclusive private club situated on Useppa Island, nestled in the natural beauty of Southwest Florida's barrier islands. This unique, boat-access-only paradise is renowned for its tranquility, historic charm, and close-knit community, making it an exceptional destination for those seeking elegance and escape from the everyday. The club offers upscale dining options, a world-class marina, inviting guest accommodations, and a broad range of recreational amenities all set within a serene, car-free environment. Beyond being just a resort, Useppa Island Club is a legacy community where history, nature, and luxury converge, providing an unmatched experience for its members and guests. Known for its commitment to exceptional service and maintaining its rich heritage, the club prides itself on creating a sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere with a focus on personalized attention and high standards of hospitality.

The Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager position at Useppa Island Club is a vital leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the club's food and beverage operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager and Operations Director, the F&B Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring every guest experiences outstanding service, superior quality, and attention to detail across all dining outlets, bars, catering services, and special events. This full-time role demands a passionate hospitality professional with extensive experience in managing upscale food and beverage environments, preferably within hotels, resorts, or fine dining establishments.

As the F&B Manager, you will develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and operational efficiency. You will work closely with the culinary team to design menus that reflect the club's brand standards while embracing seasonal trends and guest preferences. Ensuring full compliance with food safety, health regulations, and licensing requirements is essential to maintain the club's reputation and guest safety.

From a financial perspective, the F&B Manager is responsible for budget preparation, cost control, and managing forecasting to meet financial targets. The role includes analyzing sales and profitability reports, implementing inventory and purchasing controls, and minimizing waste through effective management systems. Strong financial acumen is key to balancing quality service delivery and profitability.

Leadership and staff development are at the heart of this position. The F&B Manager will recruit, train, and mentor food and beverage staff to uphold high service standards and support brand integrity. Creating a positive, engaging work environment with clear communication and teamwork helps to motivate and retain talent. Regular performance reviews and constructive feedback are part of cultivating a skilled and professional team.

Delivering exceptional guest experiences is a top priority. The F&B Manager will ensure service excellence across all touchpoints, swiftly address guest complaints with professionalism, and monitor emerging trends to continuously enhance the club's offerings. Additionally, collaborating with the marketing team to promote F&B outlets and organize special events will help grow revenue and build customer loyalty. Creativity and innovation in introducing unique concepts and promotions are encouraged to invigorate the club's dining experiences.

This role is ideal for a dynamic, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a luxury hospitality setting and is committed to operational excellence, financial success, and outstanding guest satisfaction. Useppa Island Club offers a rewarding career path with a chance to contribute to a storied institution cherished by its members and guests alike.
