Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of post-high school education
- Two or more years of full employment in a related position
- Two years of management experience in food and beverage operations
- Hotel experience preferred
- Knowledge of restaurant and hotel practices and procedures
- Strong supervision and communication skills
- Ability to analyze information and make decisions guided by policies and procedures
- Knowledge of hotel operations and relevant laws
- Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff
- Ability to plan, organize, and delegate
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under deadlines
Job Qualifications

- Ability to investigate and analyze activities or information and make logical conclusions and recommendations
- Knowledge of hotel operations including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, business plan preparation, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance, hospitality law, and long-range planning
- Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and ensure accomplishment of goals
- Ability to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to adapt to different audiences
Job Duties
- Direct the day-to-day operations of the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner periods
- Direct the day-to-day operations of the bar operations
- Manage the human resources in the various outlets including interview, hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel employees
- Implement company programs and manage operations ensuring compliance with policies, SOPs, safety regulations, and legal requirements
- Forecast, implement, monitor, control and report on budgets and their components to maximize revenue and minimize expenses
- Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure quality experience and enhance sales
- Create, recommend, and implement promotions, displays, buffet presentations and ideas to attract more guests
- Monitor and control maintenance and sanitation of outlet areas and equipment to protect assets and ensure quality service
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
