Job Requirements

  • Work authorization in the United States required
  • Prior leadership experience in food and beverage or hospitality operations
  • Knowledge of luxury food and beverage service and operational controls
  • Ability to use computer systems relevant to food and beverage operations
  • Commitment to upholding company cultural and core standards

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of division operations and Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and procedures
  • Prior experience leading a team within luxury food and beverage or hospitality operations
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and food and beverage computer systems

Job Duties

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Hotel's Food & Beverage departments
  • Manage operations primarily for the Pool & Winter Dining Department with support to Banquets and In-Room Dining teams
  • Ensure compliance with established cultural and core standards
  • Conduct long-range strategic planning for outlet operations
  • Maintain visibility in operations to provide recognition and promote positive public relations
  • Handle guest complaints, concerns, and special requests effectively
  • Oversee quality control of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods
  • Provide knowledgeable guidance on wine and spirits
  • Collaborate with the Hotel Manager and Food & Beverage Leadership Team to design menus and amenity options
  • Control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and cash management
  • Monitor physical condition of facilities and equipment and recommend improvements as needed
