Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum of two years food and beverage supervisory experience
  • strong leadership skills
  • effective verbal communication skills
  • excellent time management
  • knowledge of three meal restaurants preferred
  • knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations and room service preferred
  • ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Manage the front-of-house operations for The Rux Rooftop and Church and State
  • lead the operational efforts of the bar and lounge teams
  • actively engage with the bar team and guests
  • assist in the completion of food and beverage orders in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • manage inventory monthly and place weekly bar orders
  • attend weekly BEO and leadership meetings as needed
  • oversee and execute all bar-related banquet events and other banquet events as assigned
  • provide training, direction, supervision, and hands-on support for direct associates and supervisors to accomplish food and beverage operation goals
  • ensure communication, engagement, and conflict resolution within the team for a positive associate environment
  • partner with the Sales team to execute events and improve brand recognition
