Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Four-year college degree hospitality preferred or equivalent education and experience
- 2-3 years of experience in restaurant management or equivalent
- New Mexico Food Handler Certification required
- ServSafe Manager Certification required
- Alcohol Server Certification required
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and late nights
- Ability to work on feet for eight hours or more
- Knowledge of restaurant point of sale systems
- Must be able to lift, push, reach for, or carry 30 plus pounds frequently
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Four-year college degree in hospitality preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-3 years of restaurant management experience or equivalent
- Experience in luxury branded hospitality preferred
- New Mexico Food Handler Certification
- ServSafe Manager Certification
- Alcohol Server Certification
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Knowledge of restaurant point of sale systems
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Job Duties
- Oversee food and beverage areas within the hotel
- Schedule staff according to business needs and special functions
- Manage payroll, forecasting, and training
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and company procedures
- Interact with guests to set a high example of service
- Plan, organize, and direct restaurant staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain reservation system and coordinate with kitchen for smooth service
- Problem-solve issues independently and work with line-level staff and kitchen
- Execute large parties and manage booking procedures
- Train, evaluate, motivate, and coach restaurant employees
- Ensure quality of food items and provide knowledge of wine and spirits
- Lead pre-service meetings and provide calm leadership on the floor
- Close and cash out employees at shift end
- Approve vacation, sick time, and time cards using payroll system
- Maintain and follow food safety standards and company policies
- Attend and participate in departmental and leadership meetings
- Support teamwork across F&B departments
- Deliver 4 star service standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
