Job Description

Wawa, Inc. is a well-established convenience store and food service company operating throughout the United States, renowned for its commitment to quality products and excellent customer service. As a leader in the retail food and beverage sector, Wawa offers fresh food, beverages, and a variety of convenient service options to millions of customers daily. The company has built a strong reputation for its innovative food and beverage programs and continues to expand its reach by focusing on a fresh, efficient, and customer-centered experience in every store. Wawa’s culture emphasizes respect, inclusion, and fairness, consistently striving to create a positive work environment for its associates. This foundation has helped Wawa become a trusted name in the convenience retail market with a focus on community engagement and associate development.

As a Food & Beverage Manager (FBM) at Wawa, you will oversee and manage all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring seamless execution and consistent quality daily. You will work closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to maintain a high standard of service while driving operational efficiency and sales performance. Your primary responsibility will be to own the food and beverage programs including fresh food offerings, grab-and-go meals, beverages, catering services, and more. The FBM position is essential for supporting the store’s overall success by promoting a customer-focused environment and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

In this role, you will lead efforts to increase food service sales while maintaining the quality and consistency that customers expect from Wawa. You will analyze sales trends and collaborate with your team to create actionable plans that optimize results. As the in-store expert, you will handle promotions and marketing initiatives designed to engage customers and increase store traffic. Training and development of Customer Service Associates will be a key focus—you will deliver comprehensive training programs to enhance their skills, foster motivation, and encourage outstanding customer service.

Additionally, the Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for supporting hiring, team scheduling, ongoing associate training, and overall team development. Recognizing strong performance and helping associates grow professionally ensures that the team remains skilled and motivated. Maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting food service environment that complies with all health codes and safety protocols is critical. Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and overseeing equipment upkeep will also form a part of your day-to-day responsibilities to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.

This role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22.70 to $28.40, depending on experience, position, and location, along with eligibility for monthly bonus incentives. The Food & Beverage Manager is a key position for driving the store’s success and creating an exceptional experience for both customers and associates. Wawa is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and providing reasonable accommodation during the application process. Join Wawa and contribute to a thriving company that values innovation, quality, and people management skills in a fast-paced retail setting.
