Job Requirements

  • Standing for long periods or entire shifts
  • Professional appearance and clean uniform

  • Compliance with company food and beverage policies and health regulations

  • Previous bartending experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Mentor and collaborate with entry and senior line cooks, apprentices, and stewards during daily food preparation and production
  • Utilize company food and beverage procedures as well as health department regulations and federal guidelines
  • Maintain food cost and labor cost controls
  • Check freshness of foods and ingredients and ensure all recipes and portion-use records are followed
  • Monitor guest feedback scores and contribute to efforts for positive influence on rankings
  • Foster a climate of cooperation and respect among coworkers
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including acting as a Sous Chef in training when necessary
