Job Requirements

  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Completion of an Associate's degree, apprenticeship, or 60 college credit hours related to the position from an accredited institution is preferred
  • minimum 4 years of experience in food and beverage operations including bar operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
  • experience with catering and bar inventory systems preferred
  • certification in food safety and responsible alcohol service (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS)
  • strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Duties

  • Plan and execute multiple banquet functions simultaneously with attention to detail and timing
  • lead and support banquet captains and catering staff during event setup, service, and breakdown
  • set up banquet serving areas in accordance with event specifications and service standards
  • maintain and manage catering inventory, including chafers, serving utensils, and decor
  • ensure all catering equipment is clean, functional, and properly stored
  • gather, review, and deliver Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to relevant staff to ensure accurate event execution
  • conduct pre-event briefings and post-event evaluations to ensure continuous improvement
  • respond promptly and professionally to catering inquiries from clients and internal event strategists, providing recommendations and solutions
  • oversee all aspects of event bar operations, including setup, service, and breakdown
  • schedule bartenders based on event needs
  • order and manage bar supplies, including beverages, garnishes, glassware, and disposables
  • maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits
  • ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service policies and local regulations
