Job Duties
- Maintain uniform appearance according to established guidelines
- Adhere to policies, rules, and procedures
- Gather pots and pans to wash in a three compartment sink or a pot machine
- Maintain chemical detergents in dish washers, pot washers, and routine dispensers
- Wash baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables, and cutting boards
- Sweep and mop all floors and wash floor mats
- Clean kitchen equipment including dish machines, ice machines, pot machines, prep tables, hot boxes, and refrigerators
- Sort and wash all dishware, silverware, and glassware
- Clean stove, ovens, hoods, and all stainless-steel kitchen equipment
- Separate and remove trash and garbage, handle biohazard cleanup as needed
- Haul trash to designated containers
- Polish kitchenware and glassware
- Clean food and beverage service carts, racks, food warmers, queen mary’s, and dish dollies
- Maintain fryer oil by filtering, changing, and disposing of oil
- Wash kettle pots on the hot line
- Set up dishware, glass, and silverware for all food service
- Inform management of needed supplies
- Assist in maintaining a neat, clean, and safe working environment
- Complete turnover/takeover station as per procedures
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Assist with setup and breakdown of stations and kitchen equipment
- Ensure first-in, first-out product rotation
- Properly label and date all products
- Comply with Health Department, OSHA, and Fire Department regulations
- Complete mandatory health and safety training
- Work as a team to assist guests and employees
- Handle fast-paced environment and multitasking
- Maintain written and verbal communication skills
