Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Six months to one year experience in relevant food service or customer service roles
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
Comfortable interacting with diverse guests in a busy environment
Strong communication skills
Ability to follow safety and hygiene guidelines including COVID-19 protocols
Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Six months to one year experience working in food service, concessions, attractions, entertainment, or customer service-based positions preferred
Fun, dynamic, and friendly personality
Excellent communication and listening skills with team members and guests
Ability to work in areas with loud noises and confined spaces
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
Flexible to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

Job Duties

Adopt an enthusiastic, assertive, and passionate approach to guest service and demonstrate Merlin Values at every opportunity
Seek out guest contact and display enthusiasm and fun energy
Maintain a strong sales approach, maximizing sales goal targets
Ensure queue lines are managed safely while delivering excellent guest experience
Speak comfortably with a variety of guests, visitors, and team members
Ensure all public areas have well-stocked displays and points of sale, and maintain cleanliness throughout the day
Follow opening and closing procedures as detailed in the operating plan
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security policies, including COVID-19 practices
Perform physical activities such as standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching repetitively or for extended periods of time
