Job Requirements
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Ability to climb ladders safely
- Capability to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely including lifting up to 44 pounds
- Ability to work in temperature ranges from 34°F to -10°F as needed
- Ability to work where common allergens may be present
- Capability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions including humidity and exposure to outdoor elements
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old for Bakery roles
- Previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve guest questions quickly
- Attention to detail with the capability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by prioritizing guest needs during all hours of operation
- Uphold and maintain Food & Beverage standards through consistent execution
- Execute food delivery, replenishment, straightening, in-stocks routines, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and backroom organization
- Follow all food safety requirements outlined in company policies and procedures
- Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales
- Collaborate with vendors to maintain and update merchandise displays and organize backroom space
- Identify and process damaged, recalled, or expired items according to company policies
- Demonstrate knowledge of store tools, products, and services to resolve guest issues and improve experience
- Comply with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws
- Utilize and care for in-store and personal protective equipment according to guidelines
- Promote a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work safely by adhering to all safety policies, best practices, and reporting hazards
- Support guest services including backup cashier, order pick-up, and Drive-up while complying with applicable laws
- Greet guests warmly and assist with their needs, creating a welcoming shopping experience
- Perform additional duties as needed based on business requirements
