Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery only)
- ability to climb ladders
- able to scan handle and move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely
- flexible work schedule including nights weekends holidays and peak shopping times
- ability to work in temperature-varied environments ranging from 34°F to -10°F
- able to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
- ability to work in spaces where allergens may be present
Job Qualifications
- Previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required
- ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- work both independently and with a team
- resolve guest questions quickly
- attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- accurate cash handling skills
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
Job Duties
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience prioritizing guest needs
- uphold and maintain Food & Beverage standards
- execute food deliveries replenishment and merchandise organization
- follow food safety requirements as outlined in policies
- use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products
- work with vendors to maintain salesfloor displays and organized backroom
- locate and process damaged recalled or expired items according to policies
- be knowledgeable about products tools and services to enhance guest experience
- execute federal state and local adult beverage laws
- appropriately use and care for protective equipment and follow equipment guidelines
- demonstrate ethical conduct safety and compliance
- support guest services such as cashier order pick up and drive up
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests
- engage with guests to solve their needs
- perform other duties based on business needs
