Operated by Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, this park offers a unique combination of thrilling rides, water attractions, and a wide variety of dining options across its 200-plus acres. Known for its commitment to delivering top-tier guest experiences, Dorney Park is not just a destination; it's a place where memories are created, and excitement is a daily promise. This family-friendly park attracts millions of visitors each year and operates with a passionate team dedicated to exceptional service and safety. As part of Six Flags, one of the largest amusement park corporations globally, Dorney Park benefits from a network of over 40 unique properties, all committed to entertaining guests with consistent excellence and innovation.
Joining the Dorney Park team means becoming part of a dynamic hospitality environment where your role directly influences the quality of the guests’ experience. As a Food & Beverage Safety Auditor, your primary responsibility is to ensure that every dining experience at the park meets the highest standards of food safety and operational excellence. This full-time position offers a competitive wage of $17.50 per hour and an enriching environment that values teamwork, safety, and guest satisfaction. You will conduct daily audits of food service areas, identifying areas for improvement and immediate correction to uphold the park’s renowned safety standards.
Your work will be critical in not only maintaining but also enhancing food safety protocols through detailed reporting and collaboration with the Food & Beverage Director. Your reports will include daily and weekly recaps and actionable recommendations aimed at advancing operational processes. Alongside these tasks, you will provide essential food safety training for all associates, ensuring every team member is aligned with the park's rigorous safety standards.
The role also involves a proactive stance on maintenance and safety, requiring you to report any safety concerns, equipment malfunctions, or unusual conditions immediately. Acting as an essential liaison between the Foods Division and the Park Safety Department, you will help maintain a safe working and dining environment for both guests and associates. Your participation in scheduled and unscheduled Everclean audits will reinforce the park's commitment to cleanliness and safety, with responsibilities extending to preparing reports and action plans to rectify any deficiencies noted.
Dorney Park offers a vibrant, engaging workplace culture highlighted by numerous perks and benefits, such as paid training, free uniforms, and complimentary admission tickets to not only Dorney Park but also other Six Flags properties. Associate perks include free tickets for friends and family, discounts on food and merchandise, access to employee-only events like ride nights and game nights, and other local attraction tickets and discounts. The company provides numerous seasonal promotion opportunities, making it a great place for team members looking to grow their careers in the hospitality and entertainment industry.
Working at Dorney Park means being part of a team that is passionate about creating fun, safe, and memorable experiences for guests from all walks of life. The park values inclusivity and provides an environment where employees can learn, grow, and develop valuable skills for their future. The role demands good judgment, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. The schedule includes availability during some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the business and its dedication to guest service throughout the year.
